Quick answers about TradieTally, the estimating and job management app for Australian electricians, security technicians and A/C contractors. Solo is $79/month and Team $99/month (AUD inc GST) with a 21-day free trial and no credit card. It runs on web, iPhone and Android, and syncs with Xero.

Getting started

Is TradieTally an Australian company?

Yes. TradieTally is Australian-owned and built in Queensland by CJCC Investment Pty Ltd, founded by electrician and security technician Jayson Conceicao. Prices are in AUD including GST, and it is built for Australian and New Zealand trade businesses.

How long does it take to set up TradieTally?

Most businesses send their first real quote on day one. Enter your running costs and rates, add a few Smart Bundles for your common jobs, and connect Xero. Customers who sign up through the trade offer also get a one-on-one onboarding session where we set it up with you.

I'm not great with computers. Will I cope with TradieTally?

Yes. TradieTally was built by a working sparky to be used on site, on a phone, between jobs. Support replies within one business day and can walk you through pricing and setup.

Can I import my existing customers and materials?

Yes. You can bulk import materials and inventory by CSV, including pricing exported from your wholesaler account, and add customers with their sites and contact details. See supplier price lists.

Apps and access

Does TradieTally have a mobile app?

Yes. TradieTally runs in the browser on any computer and has iPhone and Android apps, so you can quote on site and your field staff can see jobs, log timesheets and run checklists from their phones.

Can my staff have their own logins?

Yes, on the Team plan. Each person gets their own login with an Owner, Admin or Member role, and you choose what they can see. Profit, margins and charge-out rates are hidden from field staff by default.

Is TradieTally available in New Zealand?

TradieTally is sold to registered businesses in Australia and New Zealand with an ABN or NZBN. GST, ABN and quote formatting are built around Australian requirements.

Data, security and support

Who owns my data in TradieTally?

You do. Your quotes, jobs, customers and financial data belong to your business, and you can export reports to CSV or Excel at any time. Read our privacy policy for how data is stored and protected.

How is my TradieTally account secured?

Accounts use password authentication with optional email-based two-step verification, and team roles control who sees what. Payments are processed by Stripe, so card details are never stored by TradieTally.

How do I contact TradieTally support?

Email support@tradietally.com.au. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern time. For sales and partnership questions email hello@tradietally.com.au or use the contact page.

Switching software

Can I switch to TradieTally from Simpro, Tradify, ServiceM8 or Fergus?

Yes. Many tradies run TradieTally alongside their old system during the free trial, then move over once their rates and Smart Bundles are set up. See our software comparisons for the key differences.

Does TradieTally work with MYOB or QuickBooks?

Not yet, but we are working on MYOB and QuickBooks integrations now. Today TradieTally integrates with Xero for accounting. If you use MYOB or QuickBooks, let us know at hello@tradietally.com.au and we will keep you posted as they come online.
